    '60 HP radiator

I am installing an aluminum top tank radiator in my 270 hp car to replace an incorrect radiator that's presently in the car. The correct mounting brackets are in place and I have the four cushions for the side mounts. I have two questions. Firstly, are there cushions for the bottom and if so how many, and secondly, is it bolts or pins that go through the radiator for the side mounts and where can I obtain these? Thanks in advance.

Terry - My recall says only side mounts, nothing at the bottom of the rad. It is 4 bolts (1/4 - 20) that go through the radiator. There is really nothing special about these bolts - probably a hardware store item unless a bolt head logo is going to keep you awake at night. Maybe someone with superior knowledge can add to this - or correct me. Best, Dennis

There is something else to consider. You have to make sure you have the 3rd generation hood to adapt to your new radiator. You have to have one to clear your expansion tank when you close the hood. Just something to check. Alot of these things change over the years and it's just one more thing to consider. I have an article out of a sacc magazine, I could fax it to you if you like. There are 4 different hoods from 58 to 62.
