    C2 AIM Sealant question

The assembly manual calls out a flag note which states "Sealant Cement-Plastic Seam". Is there a brand name or product I should be using for these applications? Thanks.

Scott, what is the intended application? It sounds like seam cement that is commercially available, but that product dries hard. Is the stuff you're replacing dried hard or is it still pliable?

I ended up using 3M seam sealer 8505 and it seems like it is pliable. The AIM calls for it to be applied in the areas of the A and B pillars when installing that section of the floor/rocker panel to seal water from entering the cabin.
It is also applied to seal the access hole for the body mount cavity in front of the rear wheel.
