    Dual point distributor vacuum cannister?

    Just finished rebuilding my 61 Dual point distributor for a car I bought in boxes. NAPA sold me vacuum cannister VC680. Researching the Chiltons for 53-62 vettes has a great blow up diagram of a dual point distributor, but no cannister. I can't see where the cannister connects so I'm thinking NO vacuum cannister for a 61 315hp dual point distributor. Correct?

      You are correct, the '914 distributor was not so equipped.

          The solid axle era dual point distributor has no provision for a vacuum advance.
