C2 Oil Filler Tube

I'm changing the old oil filler tube on my 66 327/350 and the old one is stubborn. Are there any tricks to getting the old one out and the new in?

Rich -

Put a piece of broomstick in it and work it around in a circle to loosen it up, then just pull it out. To install, orient it so the PCV bung is in the right position, put a 2x4 block over the end of it, and whack it with a large hammer - it's a press fit.

I sprayed PB Blaster around the base and let it sit for a couple of days. The tube loosened up and was easy to remove by hand after.

John,
I used your broomstick method to remove the oil filler tube on my L-84.
It work like a champ. Thanks for the information on it's removal.
