Re: leather seats
I've used Lexol on my Ferraris for many years; their leather has always been harder/drier than most other leathers, and benefits from occasional care (twice a year). Lexol treatment involves use of BOTH products - the cleaner first, then the conditioner; the cleaner also has some emollients and conditioners - don't just use the conditioner alone - you won't get the full benefit of the treatment. Also does wonders for Ferrari's Schedoni fitted luggage, and Rolls-Royce and Bentley have endorsed Lexol for decades for their Connolly leather.- Top

Re: leather seats
I used lexol products on my leather seats for many years, had many AMX and Javelin models that had leather seats, they were also a much stiffer harder leather. The leather often got hard on these seats over years of neglect by other owners. Lexol actually brought back some of the suppleness to these seats.- Top

Re: leather seats
Lexol is a pain to use, however it does a great job on softing hard leather and cleaning as well. I use it it on leather saddlebags on my Harley that is driven in all types of weather, when I bought the bags they where used and hard as a rock, after using Lexol for a few months(once a month treatment for about 3 months) the bags are now as soft as ever. It is best to use the conditioner and cleaner when useing it for best results. Lexol is the only leather care product we sell at the upholstery shop I work at.- Top

John is right on.
If your leather isn't cleaned first the conditioner kinda just lays on the surface. After using their cleaner the leather takes in the conditioner. I like to put the conditioner on with my hand. The warmth of your hand seems to get it into the leather better. I let the car sit unattended for a few days and then buff over the leather with a microfiber or cotton towel. Very happy with the results.

Re: leather seats
Leatherique does make a leather restorer and a cleaner that works excellent. They cater to the Rolls, Bentley, Mercedes and Ferrarai owners. If you put the restorer on leave it for 24 hours and then use the cleaner and buff. Restores original feel and even the smell of new leather.- Top
