    C1: Under dash reinforcement bracket

    Hi all,

I'm looking for a vendor selling 1 needed under dash reinforcement bracket. It is one of the two brackets in the center (behind the radio) which is currently missing in our car. Does any know a vendor or source to get such a bracket (and part nr.) ?

    thanks,
    Rob Musquetier

    Rob,
I think Mary Jo lists this part in her catalog. It lists as " 58-62 bracket under dash. The left grab bar end bracket connects to it in the speaker area."

      Hi Donald,

Thanks for your response but this is not the bracket I was refering to. It is the one connecting one of the bolt under the window to the firewall...

      greetings,
      Rob.

        Here you go Rob...

Paragon has the part you are looking for, it is their # 6835K dash support rod kit (both rods plus hardware) for $12 US$. The web site is www.corvette-paragon.com. All my dealings with them have been excellent. By the way, do you know what headmark the bolts should have that go through the firewall to these rods up by the wiper motor? And are they painted, cad, or phosphate? Pat G.

Mine were TR head mark on my 60, and they were in place when the blackout took place so they are blacked out as well.
