What is the best method for removing the rivets from the front hubs without causing damage to the hubs?

I used a drill press on mine, with a bit just smaller than the diameter of the rivet shaft. Drill all the way through, then I used a punch and hammer and they came out easily. If you don't have new rivets to compare with the drill size, start with one you're sure is smaller than the rivet shaft.

Thanks for the quick response. Now that the rivets are removed how do we seperate the hub from the rotor?

        Pull hard

If the rivets are completely removed there's nothing except surface rust holding it in place. A whack with a rubber or rawhide mallet will usually do the trick.

Out of curiosity, why are you separating the rotors from the hubs? They were machined as a matched pair at the factory, replacing the rotor by itself or maching the old rotor on it's own runs the risk of creating problems with lateral runout.
