For Duke, the rubber man

Duke: some guy dropped of a set of Yokohama tires today. they are 285/40ZR 18s and 255/45ZR 18s. AVS S1 V100 . are these road tires or performance tires? can't tell from a quiock review of tires sold by tire rack. thanks, mike ps; they feel very hard to the fingernail test.

There are and were several tires in the "AVS" line. The current AVS line includes the AVS Sport and AVS ES 100. All the AVS line can be considered to he high perf. or ultra high perf. summer tires - excellent wet and dry performance in mild temperatures, but not so good below freezing on dry roads or on snow. Can you give me the tire date codes or post a photo of the tread design.
