Has anyone dealt with these guys? Just wondering how they are to deal with what kind of quality their parts are. I might be in the area in the new year and if they sound like a good bunch I'll try and stop in to do some shopping. Looking mostly for engine compartment and underbody/chassis parts. Thanks

Re: Crane Corvette in San Diego
Greg, I have dealt with David Crane. My expierence with him is not current.I restored my car a few years ago. However, when i did he was disorganized. He would forget orders or ship them after a "reminder call".He has an extensive inventory but his pricing is more then others.Nice guy, and he tries to please. It seems to me he is overwhelmed and does not have sufficent staff.Hope this helps you -LOU- Top

Re: Crane Corvette in San Diego
Greg...
Crane has a lot of parts, If you know the numbers and can identify what you need helps in dealing with Crane. Best visit his shop and pick out what you need for their inventory methods are in David's head...I must say however, he knows where everthing is and what it is. Great Guy- Top

I have sold David parts and his check's have alway's been GOLD. To visit his shop you might be at his house with the rest of his family, unless he has moved everything is at is house and in his backyard. Have fun. john- Top

Re: Crane Corvette in San Diego
------Greg, I had to laugh when you said these guys, and good bunch. Its a bunch of one; "David". I honestly dont know how he gets done what he does get done, but he manages to push out some very nice stuff such as his 63 consoles and big-block valve covers. I know, I know he doesnt physically make them but they are good quality and much needed. David can be exasperating at times but I believe he means well. If you are in the area by all means call him up. It will be an interesting day. Hope this helps............Bill S- Top
