L.I. corvette top surround

Has anyone had any expierence with the top surrounds Long Island Corvette sells.Do they pass ncrs judging? Specifically looking at a 1965 surround.Thanks for any input.

I'm sure they use Sermersheim's Fiberglass and the price of $825.00 plus crating and shipping is fair market. The fiberglass is colored correctly and match mold. More NCRS judges have seen Sermersheim's Fiberglass than GM's and cannot tell the difference since it is made in the same molds.

Jack,

The top surround is the fiberglass piece that goes around the hood. It is one piece just like the factory piece. Top body shops use a surround just as the factory did so there will be no slices to hide with plastic filler.

Jack - It's the whole upper surface of the front end, from the base of the windshield forward to the nose, and from side to side just above the side body peak line; it "surrounds" the hood opening.
