...I think I'll take the T-tops off and work on my winter tan. Now that this Y2K thing has blown over, maybe we can get back to the real issues like Global Warming and the hole in the Ozone. Also, I'll be glad when we finally get that California quake (the Big One) over with. I can't wait for the new West Coast to be on the Missouri border. Just to let Joe L. know, I've already been looking at the new plans for a Parts Warehouse here in the Midwest. Enjoy the day! TBarr #24014

Re: 80 in Daytona
Nice and warm today so I was laying under the '63 Z cleaning thing up for Orlando in two weeks. Yesterday had a near tragedy while jacking the the car up. In 37 years of jacking it up the same way I have never had it slip. Well it slipped big time off the jack and on to the jack stand that I had ready to put under. It wiped out the pass. side rocker molding so now I have to go into the old stash and see what I have to replace the pretzel I made. I must be getting old.
Have a good day one and all.- Top

Tommy, Tommy...
count me in, I've got 4 little dinky pieces to contribute to da house of paats..dats paats without da "R". Just found a set of GM NOS upper control arm bushings, and a pair of upper control arms w/factory ball joints still riveted. Santa was good to me this year. Goin' down to the dealer today to see if I can get a set of lower bushings, get them ordered, redo the front coils in gray, redo the front spindles in cast, and replate the backing plate in zinc, the back suspension is done, complete.- Top

Re: 80 in Daytona
David, Did the same thing to my 63FI a couple of years back. Only I took part of the front fender with it. Makes you want to sit back and just contemplate doesn't it? Good luck in Orlando. PaulIt's a good life!

Re: 80 in Daytona
Thanks Paul, I am glad I am not going to be there for Judging since I may have to put my orginal 210000 mile rocker panel on for the weekend. What a sight that is since I had not looked at it for almost 20 years. I thought Ecklers would have them since them own the rights to remanufacture them, wrong! I did find them on Long Island but I hope they get here in time. See ya all in the big "O" Dave- Top
