Uhhh...nice car ad, but an LS-6 weighs less than an L-79?...mounted lower in the chassis?...does the oil pan double as a skid plate? Didn't some/most Iso Grifos have Ford engines? I noticed he didn't list a price. (Still working on my e-mail problems).

ISO Grifo's were, in their day, quite costly, exotic, and were all powered with 327/350 "Corvette" engines, supplied directly from GM. ISO built the tubular frame and running gear, and sent them to Bertone, the famed Italian coachbuilder, who built and finished the bodies. They were fast, luxurious, very well-finished and appointed, and very reliable, but couldn't compete with the Ferraris, Maseratis, and Lamborghinis of the period either in performance or price, and ISO ultimately went bankrupt and its assets were absorbed by an investor group who tried to re-establish the marque, but failed. What this guy has done is to destroy both the character of the car (and its value) by "hot-rodding" it (like a '70 LT-1 where someone has swapped in a 502 with a 6-71 sticking through the hood). Too bad - they were really very nice cars.
