' tires james shelton i had a blow out on the way home from a show in st ignace last week my questions are as followes can anyone tell me the original tires that came on my ' are these tires available from anyone still thanks for the help

re ' tires mike ward james your ' came equipped with either firestone or goodyear gr x tire either in plain whitewall or raised white letter sidewalls i think was the first year that corvettes came with radial tires mine had goodyear raised white letter rpo qrz i was in your position at the beginning of this year and settled on goodyear eagle ii p r x as the closest to the originals available today as far as i know there are no repro tires available yet for model year so what i have now will give me the smallest possible deduction during judging you may want imho to steer clear of putting on extra wide low profile tires my previous set were series and although they fit the appearance was off tires did not fill the wheel well and the ride far too rough regards mike ward
