Could someone please describe the key points in determining an original 63 wheel?

I need to secure an updated version of the JG and plan to do so soon. I must have an original first edition that came with the 63 SWC and there is very little information on steel wheels. The information that I need is; what to looking for if you were purchasing a set of original 63 steel rims.

A pretty cool dude took the time to point out the attributes of the 63 wheel to me one one chilly evening near Cumberland MD.
I've been looking for a set worth the money ever since then.

Thanks! TC Just what I was looking for.

I purchased a set of five from a vendor at Carlisle (NCRS member), but he had them home not with him. He stated that they were original 63 wheels. I hope to be receiving them any day and want to confirm that they are correct. I will be starting the restoration on a SWC in the near future and I am trying to secure the hard to find parts.
