    '67 SPARE "DC" RIM FINISH

The "DC" stamped spare tire rim I have is in nice shape, no rust or corrosion on either side. I repainted the outside argent silver. The backside appears to be a primer shade of gray. Is the backside considered during judging, and if so, what finish is condidered correct?

Original "DC's" were dipped semi-gloss black.....

with argent overspray through the slots onto the back.
If the wheels look black, they will likely pass.

Rob - You'll want to make sure the back side of the rim is black, since as Mike mentioned the original one were dipped and initially all black and then painted argent silver.

BTW, the wheel you have might be a service wheel since they were painted a gray color.
