69 427 alt pulley grooves?

i have a 69 427/400 with PS and A/C. if you look at the belt routing in the assembly manual it shows only one groove on the alt that is run off the double groove cast iron pulley on the PS pump. my alt pulley has 2 deep grooves. my alt is not the original but its funny that it does have deep groove pulleys. should it have only one?

I'm not aware of any Corvette that ever used a multi-groove alternator pulley. Certainly, no 1969 ever originally used such a pulley.
