I'm wondering when the second edition of the owners manual was issued, month or approx. VIN. Are there many differences between the 1st and 2nd. Also was the warranty booklet changed to at the same time.

Second edition 1965 owners manuals have a Dec. 1964 date on them. One can only speculate exactly when they were installed on the Assembly line, but it is very possible there was some overlap one way or the other on the December date. For some reason original second editions seems to be far more difficult to locate than first editions. -

A second edition will say "seconmd edition Dec. 1964" I don't recall if the first edition has a date or just reads first edition.Comment
