Oklahoma--'66 burnt 427?

I looked at a '66 427 convertible that had a fire under the dash, real bad, a couple of years ago. I have since lost the guys phone number, I was wondering if anyone in Oklahome knows about this car? The guys name was Royce. I believe that was the sons name and his father had a few mid-years, camaro's, mopars etc. The lived in Enid (at least his father did) right off of the interstate up from OKC. I thought I would take a shot and see if anyone in OK knows who this guy is? I have looked at the car twice and the last time was in the spring of '02 and the car was in a warehouse in downtown OKC, with a bunch of Mopars. His father had a red C-2 convertible with air and a straight axle at that time. Any thoughts Oklahoma?

You might try calling Dave Clark in Enid at 233-6555. He is a founding member of the Enid Corvette Club and should know about any Vettes in Enid America.

He may know of the car or owners.
