'66 BB PS/Alt bracket question

The end of the tensioner slot on my PS/Alt brkt has broken and I am looking for a correct replacement unit (the car is a '66 L36). I found this one on ebay - although it doesn't look quite like the original that is on the car.

Also, I have looked at the illustration in Paragon's repro catalog, and it does not look quite like the original one either.

What is the inter-changability in this bracket w/other models? Where can I find one?

Like Craig, I'd say you could weld the broken one.

Also, most of these brackets are interchangable on an assortment of cars, so if you found one cheap, you could use it while you search the swap meets and the classifieds for a correct one.

The bracket that is reproduced is the 69-74 piece, GM #3946000. The original bracket used for 1966-68 Corvettes was GM #3878241. The GM #3946000 replaced it for SERVICE of 66-68 models in July, 1968. Both the 3878241 and 3946000 were Corvette-only pieces; they were not used on any other models.
