Careful searching for clues is about the only way unless you can find the original owner. -
Correct!
Absent original order/delivery documentation and/or an affidavit from the original owner, all that can be done is intelligent sleuthing to reconstruct the high liklihood of the car's original configuration. This can be difficult with cars that went through many prior owner hands, ESPECIALLY if they were raced/wrecked and pieced together from various donor car parts....Comment
