Probably you already know that 55-6 Pass car wheels were 15x5, some rivited, some welded. IF ALL YOU NEED IS A SPARE WHEEL (not to be judged), then buying a 55-6 PASS car wheel will be 30 times cheaper than buying a "Vette" wheel!!! Now, there IS a difference in the center hub between 55 and 56 PASS car wheels. the 56 has the additional crease around it which the 55 does not have. I don't have pictures, so it is hard to explain the difference. EITHER wheel will work (and after a hubcap is installed, the difference cannot be seen). The 55 wheels that I have are rivited and the 56 wheels are welded. -
