    C1 Rear Axle Assy.

I recently bought a 58 project. As I crawled under to examine it more closely I found that the rear end housing is a 60 - 62 positraction - I am not sure about the center section though. Anyway my question is - Is there any value in the differential housing and should I offer it for trade/sale or should I just refurbish everything as is.

Thanks! I assume you mean the axle bearings.

If you plan to have the car judged, you could possibly loose points. If you plan to drive and enjoy the car, leave it alone. Don H.

Yes the axles ! The pumpkin will have a large "P" if it's a Posi. You could cut the brackets off the banjo to look more like a 58 banjo but people that know could still tell by looking at the banjo ends to see the bearing housing reversed for the larger bearings.
