I would like to get my hands on a manometer to play with ('62 FI car). What alternatives are available i.e. reproductions available; instructions to make my own (least preferable)....? THANKS ALL

U tube manometers are available from various instrument suppliers. I would also check companies like McMaster-Carr (pg 518 in their online catalog). Baccarach is another manufacturer of manometers. Do an oline search for manometers and I am sure that you will find more information than you ever wanted to know

john: the kent moore manometers available to chevy dealers from 57 to about 1975, were a pain in the butt to set up and to interpret as manometer was to be mounted on the front clip of the vette, and when the engine fired up and shook the car, it shook the manometer. i have one and never use it.mike
