    C1 Windshield weatherstrip

I have a bit of confusion about the correct weatherstrip for my 1962. I've been judged at several regionals receiving a top-flight award at each, but each time I get points deducted for not having the correct weatherstrip. The problem is where the weatherstrip flap sit on top of the dash pad. My weatherstrip (which by the way is NOS P/N 3740253) does not have two lines that run from one side to the other. My question is what do these lines look like, why were they there, and can anyone get one? Does anyone know of a car with one of these installed so I can talk to the owner?

    Thanks in Advance
