Looking for right and left front bumperettes for 1960 vette. Want originals with rounded fronts not repos with sharp front. Called several vendors with no luck. Can someone help me find or suggest a source? Thank you

I purchased a set from CC two years ago. They look rounded to me - not sharp.

Related question. On a '61/'62, how many inches clearance is there between the center grill bar and the rear if the bumperette? John.Comment

Dale- I called all the vendors, even the ones that advertise prices for a full bumperette set like they have them in stock.... and nobody has any available. I think it was Zip who told me that they were not making them due to some sort of shortage in materials, whatever that means. This is why I went to Carlisle... I bought a complete assembly (bumperettes, brackets, license stuff, etc) and a couple extra bumperettes. I put the best set together and installed them on my '58 and sold the rest on ebay. You might get lucky on ebay, or find a set at the next larger swap meet.
One tip... the bumperettes themselves are whats not available... get those at ebay or at a swap... the other parts are all available someplace. Also, the brackets that bolt to the frame do NOT fit all 58-62 (actually 58-60, 61-62, I believe) like some sellers will tell you.
