    63 Emergency Brake Dash Light

Was this an option or was it standard. Also, is it a flashing light?

    Thanks,

It was standard equipment. The bulb has a bi-metallic strip inside that breaks contact with heat and causes the flashing. The 'lights' bulb beside the brake warning light is identical. Replacement bulbs are available from several of the common parts suppliers, but I've only seen them as part of complete bulb 'kits'.

      George,

The bulb works exactly as Grant says, and the GE bulb # is 257.
