How do you determine the build date of a 75 Corvette?

Open drivers side door and look to the bottom of the windshield post on the inside. Should find a 2x4 stainless steel tag that may be painted over. The top code which is a letter with numbers is the build date...like C11 where C represents the third month of production and 11 day of the month. A equals the first month of production and in 75 is October.
