My father and I have gotten a step closer to tracking down the VIN number that his '59 had "back in the day"..
He managed to locate (if you can believe it) an old speeding ticket from when he owned the car, and the ticket includes his license plate # (but no VIN). Is there anyone who can help us out with getting that info from the plate #? The local Motor Vehicle won't go back that far, and we've really given it all we can on our own (how many other people do YOU know who still have a speeding ticket in their possession from 1961???).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Nothing like being the webmaster of the 1959 Corvette Registry, and not even being able to locate the # of your own father's '59.. I was even able to locate the guy who worked on the car regularly for the person who owned the car AFTER my Dad!! SHEESH!
