'65 396/425 Part Number

Could someone provide the correct part number for the harmonic balancer for this engine?

Mark,

Part number for balancer is GM# 3860010 and lists for $159.43.

This balancer is probably a replacement but is suitable for any SHP application with a 396/427 crank that is internally balanced.

GM #3860010 is not a replacement part number for 1965 L-78; it's the original part number for the balancer used on the engine. It was also used for most 66-69 SHP big blocks, except L-88/ZL-1. The part available from GM today under that number is, as far as I can tell, indistinguishable from the originals.

Joes correct it looks just like the original except the date. & you cant see that when its on. Bill
