    1962 Hardtop Weatherstripping

I have been desperately seeking a weatherstripping kit for my '62 Hardtop but can not find one complete with the rear, middle "Hump". I've been told to purchase what's available and "splice" my old "hump" portion into it. First, is this possible? (mine isn't in that good of shape - hard)... second, is it practical? I'd sure like to keep my '62 as original as possible. Any help out there?

Yes it's possible and that's what a lot of folks are doing.

In the case of a soft top There's this outfit that is going to start making the "hump" in a ten inch section to be sold with a splicing adheisve and instructions for an undetectable splice.
