I think you meant "421" vs "471" bell housing. The answer is no. The front collar on the later muncie is too large for the "421" bellhousing.

Look for a ...383 on E-bay for LT $40 *NM*

or look for a ...403 for LT $40 also

The big block bellhousings are another story, money wise.

They would be ...444 or ...621 castings.

444's go for about $250...they are 66 for the most part (or only part?). Craig

Thx Tom, I was pretty sure this was the case, but wasn't sure if there was minor caryover into the 67 model. I have the original 444 on my 66 427/425....Craig
