    C2 67 Firewall Sealant

    Are there any "favorite" black sealants out there used to seal the grommets and insulation plugs on a 67 firewall? The sealant from the factory "hardens" so it appears to be different than a black RTV.

      Steve, I believe that 3M Strip Caulk #08578 would work. The only thing is that it is packaged in 60 piece boxes, each piece being 12 inches long. You might be fortunate enough to find a body shop that would sell/give you two or three pieces. If you are not so lucky, I will send you some if you can figure out how to mail it.
