1967 speedometer cable

I have a AC speedometer cable, the information on the packaging reads

CC737

1753MM 69IN

197 25032275

Is this the correct part # and length for a 1967 4 speed? If not can anyone give me the correct part# and length for my application.What is the one i have for? Thanks for your help.

My 67 cable on a BB M20 4 Spd is 66 1/2" long measured from the extreme ends of the housing including the screw fasteners. THere are at least 4 part numbers in the AIM for this cable... Check them out.

Wayne, the 737 is the cable that AC Delco services for the '67. I agree that it may be a bit long, but I thought that some vendors offered another cable. I searced several vendors, Dr. Rebuild, Paragon, Joe Ray, Keen, Long Island, et.al and did not find another cable. It seems that your only choice would be to use this cable or find a speedometer shop that makes cables and housings (seems to be getting very rare these days) and have them cut the replacement cable to length using your old cable/housing as a pattern
