I have a 1972 . I just purchased a front grill as a replacement and it has
the grey paint on it, however someone had painted the front edges of all the
square grill faces with grey paint. If you rub the edge with your finger nail
the paint starts to come off and it then exposes the corect chrome surface.
My question is there a easier method to remove this excess grey paint?
I didnt't want to damage the chrome underneath.
The grill is aluminum with chrome over it's surface. Then grey portions were
painted by original vendor, etc...Big John
Or the grill is plastic with chrome over it. I'm not sure. Its rather light.
