Pushrod PN for 66 350 HP

Does anyone have the current pushrod part number for a 66 350 HP? Is it still avialable from GM?

Don't have a number, but it's the same pushrod as all other SBs except maybe those later SHP 350s equipped with pushrod guideplates. (I believe they required pushrods with hardened tubes to avoid wearing down from the guideplates.)

This should be a commonly available part from both GM and aftermarket sources.

Other than the cam and larger valves, everything else in the L-79 valve train is the same as the 300 HP engine and all other SBs of that era - pushrods, rocker arms, springs, retainers, locks.

I'm out of town and I don't recall the number of the stock pushrod. However, the current GM replacement pushrod for all PRODUCTION 1955+ small blocks with flat tappet lifters is not the same in configuration as the original pushrod. I recommend that you use pushrod GM #14044874. This pushrod is very similar, if not identical, to the original PRODUCTION pushrods, PLUS it's MUCH stronger. What more could you ask for?
