Something recently caught my eye when I was viewing my '66 grill from the inside (i.e. hood up). The grill looks very rough around the edges where the individual 'splines' were cut to make room for the brackets which hold up my front bumpers. What should a "correct" grill for a '66 327cid ragtop look like? Are the individual 'splines' or 'fins' rough edged or are they smooth and do they butt up snugly around the front bumper's frame supports?
C2 grill: OEM or faux pas?
