C2 grill: OEM or faux pas?

    C2 grill: OEM or faux pas?

    Something recently caught my eye when I was viewing my '66 grill from the inside (i.e. hood up). The grill looks very rough around the edges where the individual 'splines' were cut to make room for the brackets which hold up my front bumpers. What should a "correct" grill for a '66 327cid ragtop look like? Are the individual 'splines' or 'fins' rough edged or are they smooth and do they butt up snugly around the front bumper's frame supports?

      Kevin, the OEM grill was rough. It's a good thing that these grills were only viewed from the front as not much was done to clean up the flashing on them.
