    C-3 Radio Static

    I just installed an original Delco AM/FM Radio into a 77 Vette but now when you open or close the power windows there is static in the speakers. This only happens when either power window switch is pressed. When the aftermarket radio was in place there was never a problem. Any thoughts/ideas?

      the aftermarket radio has a big filter in or on the power wier. the delco radio doesnt have much. what you are hearing is the static caused by the electric window motor brushes. it wont hurt anything. regards dick
