    I currently have a Mallory dual points distributor on my 1969 350/350 and am thinking of upgrading to a HEI tach drive distributor which goes for about $500. Do you think it will make a major difference?

          No, but reverting to a single point stock distributor with vacuum advance would probably make a difference.
