i have a 350 in my 76 with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake with an Edelbrock 750cfm carb,and im wanting to replace them with the Edelbrock Performer intake and the Edelbrock 600cfm elec choke carb.My question is,what i have there now fits under the hood ok.....will the new stuff i want fit?

The carb pad on the Performer is lower than the pad on the Performer RPM, so it should clear; the Edelbrock website has all the height dimensions for all their intakes, specifically so you can compare pad heights to determine clearances.- Top

Edelbrock told me 2 years ago they would guarantee the Performer would fit on my 71 (didn't install it though) so I suspect it would fit under this car without a problem as there is more clearance.
For a more "factory correct" appearance consider using the Edelbrock Performer Q-jet, and paint the intake orange. No one will be the wiser.
Of course, if it were me, I'd find an aluminum intake from a Corvette a couple of years later and install it, but...
