    sticky mess

Someone stuck one of those aftermarket vanity mirrors on my passengers sunvisor. It pulled off easily easy enough because it was so old but now I have two 1/2" wide lines of sticky glue on the original visor. I don't want to do more damage trying to clean it. Any suggestions?

I have never used it on the interior piece like a sunvisor, but WD-40 has been used on paint and chrome to remove similiar adhesive.

Try Goo be Gone a product sold in many stores. Lyle

Try "Skin so soft" from Avon. We use it all the the time to remove adhesive glue from wood, glass, and paint from clothes and skin.

Try some 3M Weather Strip Adhesive Remover. It works great.

3M makes an Aerosol Adhesive Remover that is citrus based, no solvents. Their model # 6041. Available at the usual industrial supply houses. Does not harm plastic, vinyl. Doesn't leave a residue. My $.02

I use a product that my wife buys at (gasp) Bed Bath & Beyond, a citrus oil based product with added aloe vera no less named "De-Solv-it". That way it comes out as her household expense, not as my Vette expense....tee hee.
