C1(1961)GRILL RESTORATION

I need to have my grill refinished on my 1961. I am having trouble finding a shop that does silver anodizing. I have a guy who does clear anodizing, I am not sure if that would be correct. Thanks, for the help, Joe DeLuca

I'm not real familiar with a 61 grill...

When you say "silver anodize" do you mean like the color of silver paint or that of highly polished silver?

I think it is a dull finish. I don't think that it is a high polish. Joe

Adding color to the anodize process isn't a big deal. The dye is added during the final "sealing" stage. If you have someone that can clear anodize, they should be able to add color.....if they want to that is.

I guess "want to" is the operative phrase here huh?
