    C1 Ansen "mags"

    I just ran across a set of Ansen wheels that fit 53-62. They're 15X6--they look very much like American Torque-Thrusts. HOWEVER--they are true knockoffs with an adapter much like the 63-66 knockoffs, and have a spinner, aluminum, with three ears and in the center of the spinner is a large A, flanked by an A and an E, which I assume is for Ansen Automotive Engineering.

    Anybody know these? Remember these? Speculate on scarcity/value?

          And the Dipstick has some oceanfront property in Scottdale for sale at a bargain!

              The "barn find" clapped-out '57 race car that was shown at Orlando in January had a set of those wheels on it, as I recall; a wheel collector from Sweden was desperately seeking the owner to see if he could make a deal for them.
