    1971 Hood Stripe Question

    I just received a new Paragon catalog and there is a 1971 convertible on the cover. The car is red with what looks like a black stripe on a small block hood. I have never seen a stripe like this before. Was this a factory option?

      This is not a factory option. It looks great and compliments the paint nicely though. In addition, the car in question has 72 style turn signal covers.
