Today I pulled down a spare from a fairly low mileage 67 coupe. I was expecting the usual black or ww since the car is blue on black. Out comes this old redline tire so I peaked under the filler rubber and I can see the tank sticker which believe it or not I could see and read. Sure enough 02QB1AA Red line tires. But this tire doesn`t match our known types for redlines. Its a Golden Eldorado Fury high performance 775-15 Nylon Tubeless Full 4 Ply. It has no DOT numbers but does have what should be a date marked (160T57) Anyone ever seen one of these?

Re: 67 Red Line Tire
No, I've never heard of them, but on my '67, the original owner told me he ordered red line tires on his car, but that day at the factory, they were out of redlines and substituted white walls. When he went to pick the car up at the dealer, he refused the whitewalls, and the dealer had him go down the street and get the proper redlines at their expense.
My tank sticker also reflects this. A pencil line was drawn through the redline option and whitewalls was hand written in. Patrick- Top
