Need '54 Vette color help.

I am building a model replica of a '54 Vette and need to know the following:

1. What is the correct color of the bell housing? Is it Chevy engine blue or metalic?

2. What is the transmission color?

3. I have seen pictures of the valve cover and have seen a number of variations... one variation has a painted valve cover that looks like a '53 (also has '53 style induction). Another variation has a '54 style valve cover painted and the third has a '54 style valve cover that is chrome. Which is correct?

4. The underbody is unpainted fiberglass right?

I bell housing same as engine

Can you tell me when in the model year the changes to the valve covers and induction system were made?
