What is the maximun bore or tolerance for a 1.000" (rear) and 1.125" (front) wheel cylinder. Thanks for the valuable information!

mic the ID of the pitted cyls. i wouldn't bore in excess of orig.id plus 10 to 20 %.the walls of the cyl are pretty stout.if the pits depth exceed 20% in excess of orig ID, toss them in you're "keep it for the next owner" box.. other option is to send them out and have them re-sleeved. i prefer Stainless Brakes of clarence , NY (stainless) over the bronze sleeves White Post of Berryville, Va utilizes. controversial issue. mike -
