    C2 Dated Tower Radiator Clamps

What would be the more correct dated tower radiator clamp for a June 1967 build date car? Paragon says the second quarter of 1967 and the other option is the 4th quarter of 1966? The 2nd quarter would be 4-67.

    Regards,
    Rick Smith

Hose clamps went on during final assy, so the date would be dictated by random pull from inventory bins at St. Louis. The NCRS general guideline is '0-6 months prior', so a 4th month 1967 date code on a 6th month of '67 build car would seem appropriate....

Well, you've answered a lot of questions here. Now we know what REALLY happened to the USS Thresher and the USS Scorpion! Those Wittek hose clamps were incorrectly dated and that sent both of these proud ships to Davy Jones' locker.
