    Weatherstripping to avoid?

I was told that there were only about two companies that make C2 Corvette weatherstripping, and that everyone sells those two brands. Is this true, and is there a reason to choose one versus another? Anyone know the differences between them? Fit? Function?

I need to replace vent window weatherstrip on my 67 conv. Any particular tips on that job?

    Tim,

I've made several purchases direct from Corvette Rubber and have been pleased with their products. I've included their link.

Located in Northern Michigan, we manufacture the highest quality American-made restoration weatherstripping for Corvettes. When you count on quality weatherstripping for America’s favorite sports car, you can count on Corvette Rubber Company.

I'm replacing all of the weatherstrip on my 66 conv. body off resto. and am using mostly Corvette Rubber. However, the windshield pillar weather strip from Corvette Rubber was not molded quite right where it fits against the inner fender. I purchased Metro pieces from LIC for this application and they are more like the original.

Thanks Dave, how did the vent window weatherstrip from Corvette Rubber fit?

Fit fine. You may have to work the metal spring clips a little where the WS fits into the vent window channel.
