Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a vendor who restores both interior and exterior mirrors to their original components and condition. Can anyone provide me with the name and contact information of such a vendor?

Have you tried Paragon? They offer both exchange and refubishment services for a number of mirrors as well as provide reproductions that they build off the tooling they bought from Donnelly Mirror....

Thanks for the information! Just spoke with Bob Kauffman and we didn't know the facts on two things. Wondering if anyone could help us?

1. The post and ball on the Y-50 exterior mirror; Was it stainless or metal or chomed metal
2. On the mirrors (interior and exterior); When you put a pencil tip up to the mirror should there or should there not be a gap between the tip and its reflection in the mirror?

Perry - Carol and Ed Fish in Kentucky do great restorations of mirrors. They don't do mail order but attend and sell at the major shows like Carlisle and Orlando. I expect they'll attend the National as well. Call at (502) 933-3734. Regards...Dick

1. metal-judges check with maganet. 2. No gap- front surface mirror that has a dark tint to it.
