    C3 Female Hood Latches 3948142 vs 3966628

Is anyone able to confirm whether the bolt patterns for the #3948142 (VL68-ALL69) and #3966628 (70-76) right hand female hood latches are identical? Joe, I'm sure you have examples of each in your collection [None For Sale]. Would you please check for me? Many thanks!

    Henry-----

Yes, I have an "ample supply" of both [and, yes, none are for sale]. The mounting patterns of the 2 right side upper hood latches are NOT the same and the 2 parts are not interchangeable.

The left side upper latch, originally GM #3948141, has the same bolt pattern as L69-76 upper latch GM #3966627. The 3966627 can be used in place of the 3948141 as long as the lock bolt is changed. The 3948141 is used with the "tulip shaped" lock bolt and the 3966627 is used with the conical head lock bolt.
